Overview

The Megger DCM1500S clamp meter is a versatile instrument designed for installing, maintaining, fault‑finding, and monitoring electrical systems, including solar and photovoltaic installations, where accurate measurement of current, voltage, resistance, and frequency is required. Capable of measuring up to 2000 V DC, 1500 V AC (with PVHV leads), and 1500 A AC/DC, it supports both photovoltaic applications and standard electrical equipment. The meter comes with standard 4 mm leads along with the PVHV1 and PVHV2 high‑voltage lead sets, and features a large backlit display and an automatic jaw‑mounted torch for low‑light environments. Additional functions such as a High Frequency Rejection Filter, inrush current measurement, internal data logging, non‑contact volt seek mode, and manual DC amp zeroing enhance its utility for professional electrical work.
